I teach Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin and Restorative. Classes involve a flow through a sequence of postures synchronised with the breath.
My sequences are inspired by Ashtanga, Iyengar and Jivamukti teachings. I use aromatherapy, massage therapy and mantras in my classes. The sequences tell stories of the body, moving from the ground up and back down through an intelligent sequence, synchronising breath and movement. We work a lot on breath, core and alignments - strengthening and stretching the body to attain stillness of mind. All lessons have a playfulness to them too - moving into different peak poses from classes to classes and using aromatherapy sometimes also. My aim is to transmit knowledge and give a sense of empowerment, inner stillness and strength to students. .
